It’s great to have traffic also from Yahoo though we know that it’s not as big as Google. Yahoo’s algorithm is different from Google in many ways. There are some things that I want to point out when you want to rank higher in Yahoo.

1. The number of backlinks…It seems that Yahoo treats a page better when you have great amount of backlinks. Number works.
2. The meta tags…Many believes that the days of Meta Tags were over but not with Yahoo. Yahoo  weighs  your meta tags. So don’t leave your page without it.
3. Contents…Of course contents must be there and it should also be unique.

These are only few that I discovered to rank higher in Yahoo and I will post new thoughts again in the future.

What are the Factors that made this Blog a PR5?

It’s a great question that I am about to discover assuming that these factors will be applied in the next PR Update.

1. My Backlinks…My backlinks are my own blogs. The idea that if I will used these blogs to make another PR5 blog is possible. Most of the backlinks I have has PR3 homepages and all them are sitewide. A wrong perception has to be removed that you should have at least 2 PR6 or PR7 to begot a PR5. The truth is many PR3 can create a PR5. Also I have to thank Sam for giving me some backlinks. Probably, his blogs has given great help.

2. The Keywords “Yicrosoft Directory”? I may have to consider the keywords factor. I searched on my competitors and they have PR4-PR6. It might probably new to Google that it is generous to give such blogs or websites higher PR.

If these factors are true and if I will follow the same way that I did in link building, then in the next PR update I will be having some PR5 blogs.

I don’t really know how strong this blog when it comes to ranking in Google without any optimization. And I hope it will be indexed quick and rank well. Binalonan Pangasinan is the keywords.

If the this comes out in the top 10 when searching Binalonan Pangasinan in the next 20 minutes, I will continue to use this blog. If not then, I have to forget this and use it in other purposes.
